My name is Dawn, and I am thegoodpt. I am a qualified personal trainer in Great Horwood, experienced in providing 1-to-1 sessions that will improve your fitness and wellbeing. I am unlike any other personal trainer locally, by offering you the privacy and comfort of a private gym, which benefits from all the latest equipment. I will create a bespoke programme that is tailored specifically for you and help you work out in your own space. So, whether you want to lose weight, enhance muscle definition or improve flexibility, I will help you make it happen.
As your personal trainer, I can design fitness programmes that are customised for you and your particular goals. I can create programmes for: fat loss, strength, rehabilitation, flexability and stability. There are a number of reasons you may struggle to stay fit. You may have children and struggle to find the time to squeeze in fitness, or if you do make it to a gym, you may have difficulty in finding effective workouts. Alternatively, if you are elderly or have suffered an accident, regular exercise may be painful and uncomfortable.
As a qualified personal trainer (and a mother with three CHILDREN!), I know how valuable your time is and will create effective programmes that will make the most of every minute and second. Or, if some of your movements are restricted, I can target the areas you need to strengthen, and work these areas to fortify and reinforce your body.
It can be dull and tedious working out the same way, week in, week out. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Before we commence on any personal training, I will consult with you to find out your likes and dislikes. I will incorporate this into your personalised training programme so that it doesn’t feel like a workout. This is important, as the more you enjoy your workout, the more likely you are to follow your workout plan, and this is the only way you will achieve your fitness goals.
You may find the gym slightly bewildering if you have never stepped in a gym before. Indeed, it is not always clear which machines are best for the results you want to achieve. Or maybe you have visited a gym, but you become self-conscious or dislike sharing equipment with twenty other people at the same time.
My sessions are conducted at my own private gym. The only people present will be me and you. I will provide expert assistance and guidance and it will all be conducted in the privacy and security of my gym.
